Angela Merkel, has confirmed that, after the decision of General Motors not to sell Opel to Great, the American group General Motors will have to pay with his own money the principal cost of the sanitation of the European manufacturer of motorcars.
This way, the chief of the German Government has raised this claim in his first Government declaration before the Bundestag, the German parliament, from the formation of the new coalition government between Christian Democrats and liberals that it implies his reelection as prime minister of Germany.
Merkel has made use of this intervention to reproach hardly the American car group, warning that he will not be the German taxpayer who assumes the principal load of the sanitation of Opel, and accusing GM of “of without doing justice to his responsibility like consortium counterfoil”.
Nevertheless, the German chancellor emphasized the disposition of the authorities of Berlin and the four federated states with plants of Opel to contribute his help for the restructuring of the mark Opel.
