Mexico has one of the strongest economies of the world. It is one of the most industrialized countries and with strong incidence in the environmental area, although equal it applies action lines to take care of the environment. Now the World Bank has decided to support the government of Felipe Calderón in this management, giving him a supreme money millionairess.
The government of Mexico keeps on working after his responsibility with the environment. And although it is not a short-term work, his combat after the climate change was recognized by the United Nations Organization (UNO). The international organism distinguished the Aztec government with the award “More Mexico in United Nations, More United Nations in Mexico 2009”.
And it seems that this country is not content only with this. In the last hours, the public state took the decision of the World Bank to support Mexico in the politics that the government will implement to help to the environment.
The financial organism granted a loan for 1.504 million dollars to the government of Mexico, as he informed the web site of the BM, that he added that this capital will be destined entirely to the development of public politics to stimulate the economy and to strengthen, in the long term, a friendly growth with the environment. In other words, the BM and Mexico bet on a green growth in the Latin-American country.
With the granted loan, the World Bank will support basically the politics frame for the reduction of emission energy in the sectors and of urban transport; the frame of evaluation and monitoring for the emission reduction in transport and energy; and the establishment of financial mechanisms that should facilitate the emission reduction in transport and energy, he published the web.
Is it possible to achieve this target? This question Mexico is answered by the proper World Bank across the report “: I study on the decrease of emission of carbon”, known also with the initials MEDEC, who expresses categorically that a green growth is possible in the Aztec country, if tens instructions follow to reduce the emission of CO2.
