New Zealand, the most transparent country of the world

Which are the most transparent countries of the world at present? Next, this finance blog will allude to the already well-known so called study “Index of Perception of the Corruption 2009”. Realized year by year by means of the interviews concision to different persons, this document is shaped by 180 countries that are perceived as the least corrupt of the world. As in the previous years, once again New Zealand takes the distinction of being the most transparent of the planet.

The edition of 2009 of this classification is integrated by 180 countries of the different continents. The above mentioned list is led by New Zealand, which keeps on being the most transparent country of the world, according to the perception of the interviewees.

Denmark occupies the second place of the ranking and Singapore and Sweden they integrate the third position. The fifth place is for Switzerland; the sixth one for Finland and Holland; and the eighth one is integrated by Australia, Canada and Iceland.

In relation to the countries of Latin America, the least corrupt countries, as it is ready prepared by Transparency International, there are Chile and Uruguay, who integrate the position number 25 of the ranking. While Canada is the best posicionado of North America.

As regards other continents, it is important to add that New Zealand, not only it is the least corrupt country of Oceania, but also of the entire world; Denmark is the most transparent of Europe; Singapore is the best posicionado of Asia; and Botswana (also known like Botswana) is the least corrupt nation of Africa.
