Schools of Hawaii will close every Friday to confront the crisis

Although it is not a news that the United States has been struck by the financial and economic, hardest crisis from the Big Depression of 1929, in the last hours the public state took a measurement that will be implemented in Hawaii, place where the president Obama was born, to reduce expenses and to confront better this situation that crosses the country. The weekends will be “more extensive” up to the end of the school year, since the schools of Hawaii will not open his doors on Friday.

It has been several months since the USA faces the global crisis. If little memory is done, in July, in the frame of the 233rd anniversary of the Declaration of the Independence of the United States, the president Barack Obama urged the American citizens to join to confront the crisis.

Although the situation seems to have improved in the country, as this way also in the entire world, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) affirmed weeks ago that the world recession had finished, the United States does not want to remain evil idle and keeps on implementing measurements.
For example, the State of Hawaii decided to suspend every Friday the classes in the schools to diminish expenses and power to face better the recession through that the country still lives, they informed the means of press that did echo of this news to themselves. This means that the weekends will spread one more day, they will go from Friday until Sunday, up to the ending of the courses.

With this measurement one thinks about how to save 468 million dollars in a period of two years, reported the news agency AFP. With the elimination of 17 of days of classes, from this next Friday, the 23rd of October, it will be a question of coming to this number in 24 months.

It is important to add that although a decrease of teaching wages will exist, there will not be dismissals in these next two years, reported the web site Yahoo Noticias, that there was done echo of informations of the news agency AP.
